| The Alerts monitor is probably the most
productivity enhancing feature of the ASI Handheld system. By simply
glancing at the screen you will immediately know of any situation that
deviates from the "normal" course of operations. You can
program the system to alert you when employees are nearing overtime
conditions, when an excessive number of voided items exist on a check,
when a table has been active for too long (time to encourage them to leave
;-)), etc. The example below shows an alert generated by a table
that has been active for 99 minutes, but whose check is not yet printed.
