Job Description
Responsible for researching and writing software functional specifications for Windows, Windows .NET, and Windows Mobile software applications to be developed at ASI for the restaurant point-of-sale software industry.
Tasks include:
- Determining software requirements via interaction with end user clients, ASI reseller community, and knowledge of the industry.
- Writing detailed software functional specifications and requirements.
- Determining scope of work and resource requirements.
- Facilitating project requirements presentations/meetings.
- Developing, maintaining, and validating functional use cases for project QA cycle.
- Facilitating and managing beta testing cycle end user functional use acceptance.
- Providing input on project prioritization based on industry/market research.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred.
Required Skills
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in software project involvement or software development.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle software projects.
- Demonstrated experience with project management software tools.
Desired Skills
- Software development experience, including working with databases.
- Restaurant industry operations knowledge.
- Experience with software outsourcing.
