Marketing & Sales Director

Job Description
Responsible for managing the sales and marketing staff at ASI. The ideal candidate will be a creative, energetic and experienced person with strong organizational and inter-personal skills. Responsibilities to include:
- Preparing Annual budgets for Sales, Coop Marketing and Direct Marketing
- Supervising Sales & Marketing staff.
- Boosting sales of current ASI Resellers by
- supporting and supervising their sales efforts
- providing advanced training on product features and demo techniques
- monitoring quotas,
- etc.
- Organizing/supervising ASI’s Co-op Marketing Program for resellers
- Direct mail
- Print advertising
- Regional Tradeshows
- Other activities (such as ASI’s signature “Dine & Discover events)
- Organizing content and logistics of ASI’s Annual Reseller Meeting
- Handling logistics of national tradeshows
- Boosting ASI’s New Reseller Recruitment efforts via
- New marketing campaigns
- Supervision of ASI’s Channel Recruitment Manager
- Direct recruitment efforts
- Supervising ASI’s Marketing team in
- Developing print and web advertising targeting both restaurants and resellers
- Enforcing company and product branding in all print, web and other materials.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years experience in marketing and/or channel sales
- Demonstrated ability in managing small teams.
- Demonstrated ability in orchestrating print ad, mailing and other types of marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with web advertising.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum.
Desired Skills
- Experience in vertical software sales and/or marketing
- Familiarity with the restaurant industry and/or digital direct mail.
