After only two weeks of using QuickStaffer, this is what Alan Wanuck, owner of Alario's, has to say:

"QuickStaffer is an amazing time-saver! What used to take over three hours to do, we're now nailing down in only 20 minutes. Best of all, I can let my managers do the schedule on their own. All special events, scheduling requests and availability issues are in the computer, instead of just in my head!"

History in the making:  Alan Wanuck shows off the first posted labor schedule from QuickStaffer.

QUICKSTAFFER Goes Into Beta Testing at Two Key Sites.

Alario's Pizza in College Park, MD has been a RESTAURANT MANAGER beta test site since 1998. With a high volume Pizza Delivery business, as well as substantial Carry Out and Eat-In operations, Alario's has been an ideal test site for a wide array of new features in recent releases of the RESTAURANT MANAGER POS system.

Now that ASI has launched "QuickStaffer", a new labor scheduling package, Alario's is once again a prime beta test site. The store not only has a large staff and high peak staff requirements, but they also struggle with the fact that most of their employees are students at the nearby University of Maryland. In other words, Alario's has few full-time workers and high turnover rates.

These facts create huge scheduling headaches for Alario's owner, Alan Wanuck, and his management team....But Alario's problems create the ideal environment for testing ASI's new "QuickStaffer" application, and ensuring that the final product meets the real scheduling requirements of the business.

Mrs. K's Toll House Restaurant, ASI's second beta test site, presents different labor scheduling problems such as the handling of double shifts (lunch, dinner), and a lot more attention to the employees' work time preferences.   As such it is proving the scheduling flexibility of the QuickStaffer application.

QuickStaffer's official release date is scheduled ;-) for February 15, 2001.
